π What type of "No-code stuff" is everyone building?
But first, what do we define as "no-code" in this list? We have 2 criteria for selection.
It has to be built using no or low code.
It has to include some form of logic ("if this then that"). I mean, otherwise, every blog site or an agency's website can be considered no code. β
Disclaimer: Please bear in mind I have not looked into these websites in detail, so some websites might have slipped through despite not qualifying and vice versa.
π₯ Platform & marketplace ideas
No-code platforms like Bubble are fantastic for testing out new platform and marketplace ideas. This is probably the best use case for no-code because the alternative method - even just to build an MVP - is a costly affair.
Nicheless - A minimalistic micro-blogging platform (like a long-form version of Twitter but without vanity metrics). Built on Bubble. Currently has 2000 users.
New Lemonade - Shopify, but designed for children to sell their own products, starting with designing their own mugs. Built on Bubble.

π₯ SAAS ideas
There are plenty of micro SAAS ideas you can come up with just by going through problems in your own daily life.
Here are a few:
Joli - A social bookmarking tool. Keep all your team's bookmarks together so that the entire team can find them.
Releadity - This tool helps salespeople organise leads and schedule follow-up calls.
π§ Tip: For more ideas, go through Shopify (or any other large platforms)'s App listing, find a list of apps list 3 to 4-star rating apps that have a lot of downloads, and see if you can recreate it using No-code tools.
π₯ E-commerce ideas
Shopify is still the easiest way to get started with building your own e-commerce store. But what if what you sell is a little more complex?
Here's why you might want to use no-code tools for e-commerceπ
DropCenter - A B2B wholesale tire e-commerce store. No-code tools helped them set up custom drop-shipping & logistics solutions for their B2B customers.
Velographs - A custom cycling map designed and printed using just a post-code provided by the customer. A combination of Webflow, Airtable and Make helps them streamline the design and printing process.
Customized ecommerce
π₯ SEO ideas
I came across quite a few of these programmatic SEO ideas & projects recently, whereby a large number of web pages are generated programmatically. So imagine using an excel database with 200 rows to generate 200 pages of content, all using code and without writing.

π₯ Templates
What happens when a new platform gains popularity? People start to create templates for them!
If you have good design chops, you can create templates for each of the no-code platforms like Bubble, Notion, Glide...
Societal Labs - Social media templates for bubble
Easlo - He grew a 250k+ Twitter following creating templates for Notion

π₯ Databases
If you don't know where to start, start with a database.
Anything you find value in a list form can be recreated into a searchable database using simple tools like Airtable and Notion. Once you've created your database, list it on Gumroad and you're ready to go.
Trade Trade Crypto - A database of Ethereum transactions. I am fairly uneducated when it comes to crypto, so if you know why this is helpful, please hit reply and let me know.
MFMpod - A back catalogue of My First Million podcast. This idea is great, combining an enthusiastic audience (MFM listeners are loyal fans of Sam Parr and Shaan Puri) and a large but unorganized content (ideas from hundreds episodes)
Founderpass - A discounts directory and members club for founders.
π§ Tip: For more ideas, look at your own notes in your favorite note-taking app, or look through YouTube/TikTok/Facebook to find content that can be consolidated and categorized.
π₯ No-code + AI
I saved the best to last. The indie startup community is racing to build new tools using two of the most exciting new technology - No-code and AI.
Get AIway - AI-generated personalised trip planner. Built using Bubble & ChatGPT. If I get $1 every time I come across yet another personalised travel planner, I'd be a millionaire. π€Will ChatGPT finally crack this?
Wise-bots - This tool lets you pick the brains of famous philosophers. You can also build something like this for specific religions, famous authors or even a genre of thinking. For example, a tool that pretends to be a Cognitive Behavior Therapy coach (if you can find a way to overcome the medical qualification issue)
Quest Gen - This tool generate quizzes from any text in one click using AI.
Podcastmarketing - This tool generates AI marketing assets in minutes. Built on Bubble.
π§ Tip: For more ideas, look through software ideas that failed in the past and consider whether adding ChatGPT or AI to the solution can significantly improve the proposition - whether it is by improving the relatability of the content (personalized travel planner), or making the fulfilment process faster.
We built a personalised trip planner using @bubble & @Ope@OpenAIPT-3 in a few days:

π¨ Where to buy
If you prefer to Buy-Then-Build, check out Harold's No Code Garage Sale. Give Harold a follow so you don't miss event #2!
Yesterday's No-Code Garage Sale event was an experiment π§βπ¬
Although we personally thought it could be a lot of fun,
that was just an assumptionSo before investing a lot in it,
we first wanted to test our ideas πIn true MVP fashion,
it's time to evaluate now π(1/6)

π Risks
Issues with scaling - These are concerns about speed and privacy issues, which is why it may not necessarily be a good idea to stay with no-code tools when you scale.
A solution looking for problems - When considering what you COULD build with No-code, you are, by definition, prioritizing product over customers. Most startups that start in this manner will fail. Remember to validate your ideas as you build.
